Bihar Students Set a Record with Blood Donation
With the aim of serving health and humanity, the students of the renowned CIMAGE College, Patna in Bihar set a unique example. Recently, on the occasion of Chhatrapati Shivaji Jayanti, a blood donation camp was organized where hundreds of college students enthusiastically participated and set a new record.
The camp was held at the new campus of CIMAGE College in the Patliputra Industrial Area, where hundreds of students voluntarily donated blood. The event was organized through the joint efforts of the college administration, Maa Blood Bank, Mahavir Cancer Institute, and Nalanda Medical College. The main goal of the camp was to provide blood for needy patients and to spread awareness about blood donation in society.
A total of 652 students participated in the blood donation, which is the highest collective blood donation ever made in Bihar. This number has set a new record not only for the college but for the entire state.
The participation and enthusiasm of the students at the camp were remarkable. Many first-time blood donors mentioned that they were initially scared, but the college's director, Dr. Neeraj Agarwal, encouraged them, and now they feel happy and proud.
This blood donation camp has sent an important message to society that blood donation is a noble act that can save many lives. The record set by the students has inspired the entire region. The CIMAGE College administration plans to organize similar events in the future to help more people understand the importance of blood donation and encourage participation in this noble cause.
