CIMAGE Hosts Kashi-Tamil Sangamam 3.0: Bihar Governor Applauds College's Efforts and Contributions
In his address, His Excellency, Shri Arif Mohammad Khan, remarked, "Programs like Kashi-Tamil Sangamam are vital for our society. While unity has always existed in our country, such initiatives foster a deeper sense of unity among the youth. We may not know the exact birth date of Shankaracharya, but we do know that he was born over a thousand years ago. At a time when our nation was politically fragmented, Shankaracharya played a pivotal role in uniting the country spiritually and culturally. Even before him, Sage Agastya laid the foundation for this important work."
He further emphasized, "India has always been the land of sages and saints, and it is crucial to acknowledge that all these great figures conveyed the same timeless message. In ancient times, there were no communication mediums like we have today. Yet, the sages and saints were able to carry forward the ideals and values established during the Vedic period, uniting the entire nation under the bond of spiritual and cultural unity."
Addressing the students of CIMAGE, Shri Arif Mohammad Khan concluded, "This is a pivotal moment in your lives, and during this time, your main goal should be the acquisition of knowledge, so that you can contribute meaningfully to the development of India. Never allow your mind to wander aimlessly. Life will present many challenges, but remember that an extraordinary person is one who gives their best even in the most ordinary of circumstances."
